What is the difference between an abusive mother, an abusive therapist, and a judge who abuses the ultra-Orthodox?

""The abusive mother" - that's what they called her, and everyone spat in her face.

It was several years ago. A mother abused her child. How? She force-fed her, despite her resistance.

One resists and the other pushes, one closes her mouth and the other pushes. "Come on, eat!" and she doesn't eat. No wonder the 'abusive mother' continued to abuse.

She was worried about her daughter, so she pushed her so hard that the girl actually suffocated.

""Abusive mother" - this is what the media, the legal system, and the public across the country and the world called it.

Of course it is.

She had a good thought: to take care of her child's health! But, does the end justify the means?

""The abusive therapist" - that's what they called that black man, and everyone cursed him over every network and screen.

It happened in a nursing home in central Israel. A nursing worker abused an elderly man he was caring for. He forced food into him, even though the elderly man was in great agony.

It resists and with its meager strength pushes away the therapist's hand, but the therapist, young and strong, pushes even harder,

It closes its mouth with force, as much as it is capable of given its age, and it pushes with much greater force than its age and strength.

""Well, eat!" he threatens. And the old man doesn't cooperate,

Is it any wonder that the 'abusive therapist' continues his 'crazies'?

He may have been concerned about the old man, so he pushed the food into him until he choked. But is this genuine concern?

""Abusive therapist" - this is what the media, the legal system, and the public across the country and the world called it.

Of course it is.

He, the therapist, may have had a good idea to take care of his protégé's health, but does the end justify the means?

Even now, right these days, before the eyes of the people, her shaky, abusive figure has risen.

And she is not the mother of any child, nor is she a nursing care provider.

This figure is the court judge who accepted the petition of the Women's Lobby against the Municipality of Afula, and banned a Hasidic singing performance in segregation.

Not one of the thousands of people who wanted to attend this event asked for the intervention. Not one of the entire invited audience, who had purchased tickets and planned to purchase, asked to eat this food.

The singer, who had to stand and sing on the stage of honor, did not wish for this treatment.

But there are those who abuse and feed people slime, food they don't want to put in their mouths.

They resist and he pushes them hard. They shut their mouths and he keeps pushing.

""Well, eat!" he threatens.

The public doesn't ask for help, doesn't thank for the giving. They close their mouths, they don't want to eat, but with unparalleled abuse, food is forced into their mouths.

The public, who have food forced down their throats without their consent, chokes, coughs, goes wild and loses their temper. "Please, don't feed me these foods, they're not good for me, they give me an upset stomach, they're not good for my health.".

But the decision-maker and the executor closes his ears.

He, perhaps meaning well, is concerned about this public, that it will not be deprived, that perhaps their wives will be pushed out and vomited upon.

Worry, well, worry. But, even if he believes he is right, does the end justify the means?

The abusive mother also wanted the child's best interests, the abusive caregiver also wanted to make the elderly person do what he thought he should do, so why should the judge be any different?

He simply feeds his patients with all his might, against their will.

In the end, they are just old-fashioned, narrow-minded, and uneducated. He is the educated and exalted one, who knows what is good for them.

And what is the difference between him and the abusive mother or the abusive nursing caregiver?

They don't have anyone to back them up.

And he? He'll be fine!
