After hard work over the past three years, we can congratulate the finished product: a high-quality and well-crafted album containing 11 songs, well-crafted for the benefit of an audience of fans of authentic Jewish music.
The songs are free from any trace of contemporary gibberish, and experts who have been exposed to the album claim that the songs penetrate straight to the heart.
The album featured the best arrangers, including Yehuda Galili, Yoeli Diekman, Eli Laufer, Moishe Roth, Itzi Beri and Eli Klein, Benny Laufer, along with the 'Shira' choir, and arrangements by conductor R. Hershel Brisk, the 'Yiddish Nachat' children's choir, and violinist R. Gadi Pogatsch.
The mixes were handled by Haim Gottesman and Eli Lisinsky.
Rabbi Mordechai Gottlieb became known for his unique music videos of his songs, which were sung and filmed together in Komzitz with friends.
Now, with the completion of work on the album, he stands at the beginning of a fascinating musical journey to the old shtetl, to the realms of longing, yearning and nostalgia, to authentic Jewish music.
Zeevi Fried, who produced the album, is currently planning unique musical programs with Rabbi Mordechai Gottlieb, in light of the demand created since the release of the music videos, and now with the release of the new album to the general public.
