The confrontation between Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid, once 'brothers', is expanding and spilling over into unexpected scenes: Gilat Bennett, the wife of the chairman of the Jewish Home, attacked the chairman of Yesh Atid in posts she wrote on Lapid's Facebook page. Last night, journalist Raviv Drucker published three comments written by Bennett on Channel 10, which give a direct and authentic glimpse into what the economy minister's family thinks about her colleague. Among the comments to the post written by Lapid was Bennett's response: "So what other reform of my husband (who has the abilities, wisdom, initiative and courage) do you intend to appropriate for yourself tomorrow?" Bennett asked. One of the comments read: "Regarding your extra-Smolnian opinions, good luck with that," and immediately afterwards she added: "What makes you wake up in the morning and say to yourself - I'm going to take credit for someone else's work today? That's not understandable." In another case, she wrote about Lapid: "Shell, plastic, emptiness, shallowness, a lie, Lapidcopedia." The statuses to which Bennett responded were published a month ago, but they have since been removed by her. Bennett and Lapid's offices declined to comment. Drucker wrote on his Facebook account: "Bennett's office confirmed that it was indeed her and asked not to comment.".
