Beit Shemesh Mayor Moshe Aboutbul, who is currently on a quick visit to New York, took advantage of the time to meet with the leaders of Agudath Israel in the United States.
Aboutbol, who is visiting the Big Apple on a private visit, met with the vice chairman of the Israel Society of America, Haim David Zweibel.
During their meeting, Aboutbol spoke about the need to be fair to each of the different populations in Beit Shemesh, and about the activities being carried out to reduce friction between the sectors.

At the end of the meeting, Abutbol gave Zweibel the biography of the Gra"a Yosef zt"l in English. Zweibel, like an American gentleman, thanked him for the special gift.
