מבצע 'שובו אחים' להחזרת שלושת הנערים שנחטפו נמשך: כוחות הביטחון ביצעו הלילה גל מעצרים נרחב ברחבי יהודה ושומרון. 41 מבוקשי חמאס נעצרו, כמחצית מהם בשכם, שם פשטו כאלף חיילי הנח"ל על מחנה הפליטים בלאטה ובעווארתה, במה שמכונה בצה"ל "ניקוי אורוות". בסריקות נמצאה בין היתר מחרטה לייצור כלי נשק. שאר המבוקשים נעצרו בחברון ובבית לחם. בכך מגיע מספר המבוקשים שנעצרו מאז תחילת המבצע ל-200.  Incidents in Judea and Samaria: Sabotage Attempts
