What's left to eat besides washed chicken?

Following the new study, I say to myself: Okay, well, that's it, from now on I'll only eat chicken cooked in soup, what else could it be? • But then I remember my dear neighbor, a wonderful woman, who at the age of 65 was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

You know those studies that are renewed and renewed every day and don't give you room to eat in peace?

So new research states that overheating animal foods may cause Alzheimer's.

If you didn't understand, then you should know that if you once knew that you shouldn't fry food in oil, from now on you shouldn't grill it either, or even bake it.

From now on, it turns out from reliable studies, diseases can attack us whether we grill the food we eat or bake it in the oven, which until now we thought was the oven, which stood up to all insults.

Basically, we have nothing left to eat. Anything we dare put in our mouths, they immediately chase us with sticks and rolling pins.

Sometimes it seems to me that we are tools in the hands of the research editors. They have to prove that they are conducting new research, that this is not what they hired their services for, we buy their words, because that is what they sell us.

After ten years, at best, we discover from another study that it is worth eating an egg every day, that it actually provides a high amount of nutrients; then we discover that avocados don't exactly interfere with cholesterol, but rather contribute to lowering bad cholesterol, balance blood pressure, and are even good for a diet; and that bananas, which were once considered nutritionally inferior, are suddenly queens. You can eat as much of them as you want, they won't make you constipated, they won't make you fat, they'll balance your blood sugar levels, they'll help your body prevent cancer - and in general, they'll do a lot of other good things.

But who can put an avocado in their mouth while it is being vilified? Who can eat an egg a day while it is being attacked? Who can put a banana in their mouth, when studies claim that it only makes you fat - and besides, it doesn't help anything?

So even in the wake of the new study, I say to myself: Well, well, that's it, from now on I'll only eat chicken cooked in soup, what else could it be?

But then I remember my dear neighbor, a wonderful woman, who at 65 had Alzheimer's and passed away at 70, and she, poor thing, never put any chicken in her mouth, whether baked or grilled or fried or seasoned. She only ate washed chicken, cooked in chicken broth - and even that barely.

And when I remember her, I sit down at my dining table and on my plate in front of me is roasted chicken, as I've always loved, a hot, roasted potato from the oven. And, of course, a bunch of green vegetables to somehow justify the existence of the studies.
