Judy Shalom Nir Moses is not recovering: A day before the presidential elections, Minister Silvan Shalom's wife is still furious about the police investigation that thwarted her husband's chances, and about the cold shoulder he received from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which caused Silvan to decide not to run for the coveted position.
This morning, someone who aspired to be the first woman of the State of Israel wrote on her Facebook page about the virtues of her minister husband, while spreading gossip about the other candidates:
""There was one presidential candidate, a politician who had countless actions to his name for the country's citizens, served in the army, did not associate with criminals and was caught in problematic phone calls with them, a politician who was not financed by oligarchs, who did not take or receive loans from wealthy people, who was never suspected of any offense, who was never subject to a police investigation on any issue or matter, a politician who was an exemplary father, who was never questioned about his moral integrity behind his back, as is done with several other MKs (Women's Affairs), who did not finance any outings from his home at the expense of the Knesset or the ministries he was entrusted with.

Or in short, as she summed it up: "A politician of the rare, equal breed.".
And why didn't he run? She reveals: "Then Bibi came and there was Veto! Sweet.".
