Knesset Channel presenter and commentator, Yaakov Eichler, is joining the news division of the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation 'Kan'.

Eichler, the brother of MK Israel Eichler, will present a daily current affairs program on the new B network.

In recent years, Eichler has hosted the program "Eichler Yaakov" on the Knesset Channel, in which he follows the parliamentary activities of Knesset members.

Previously, he served as a political correspondent for the free online network Religious Press Line.

Director of Network B at the corporation, Omer Ben Rubi: "Eichler is a unique and significant journalistic addition to Network B, and a program hosted by him is expected to be one of the most interesting things on Israeli radio.".

Another Haredi recruited to the Kan corporation is Mailach Zilberschlag, the son of media figure Dudi Zilberschlag. Mailach was recruited to the new media department and videos starring him garner tens of thousands of views.
