With the start of the new school year, the most secure daycare center in the world was inaugurated in the city of Sderot by the Chabad Kollel organization.

''Ma'un Chaya Mushka', named after the wife of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, provides a solution for toddlers living in Sderot, which is plagued by Kassim.

A large investment was made by 'Kollel Chabad' to protect the residence, the first of its kind in the city, and in the country in general, with protective measures appropriate for a city that has suffered countless missiles over the past few years.

The daycare joins a series of successful daycares that have been opened by 'Kollel Chabad' over the years in various locations across the country. Daycares that have enjoyed tremendous success, under the educational supervision of educator Miriam Blau.

Investment was made not only in the field of protection, but also in the equally important field of education.

""As in all of the 'Kollel Chabad' daycare centers, here too we are implementing the educational vision of the Chaya Daycare Center network," says the daycare center's director, Mushka Sharon. "The educational method is based on providing security and love to toddlers, which will bring them to independence in the best possible way, through a series of activities that include sensation and movement.".

Regarding the protection at the daycare, where great efforts were invested, she says: "With God's help, we will no longer have to run to the shelter when there is a red alert. We can stay in place and simply be protected.".

""Chabad in Sderot has a good reputation," says the kindergarten teacher. "Everyone was amazed by the new daycare, the high-quality protection, and the investment in every detail, including the furniture and the large spaces. The investment here is at the highest level possible.".

Rabbi Shalom Duchman, director of the Chabad Kolel, welcomed the establishment of the new daycare center: "We talk a lot about the world of education in kindergartens, yeshivahs and seminaries, but we forget that educating toddlers also has great significance in shaping their lives - as the Lubavitcher Rebbe said and emphasized, there is importance in education from the baby's birth. This is what stood before our eyes in investing heavily in the physicality of the daycare center and also in its educational character.

""In addition, we were concerned with the desire to assist families whose daycare allows parents to go out and earn a living, especially when it comes to Sderot, which is hit by missiles.".
