A new and exciting tune for the upcoming Bar Mitzvah celebration in New York: the melody and lyrics were composed by Rabbi Shlomo Meir Huffman, the arrangement was written by Israeli musician Yehuda Galili, and the vocals were entrusted to Ari Hill, Shalom Zilber, and the child Tuvia Greenstein, who perform it together.

""The song, whose lyrics are written in Yiddish, expresses our love for tefillin and the power of connection," says Rabbi Huffman. "Right now it's a single, but we're preparing to work on a full album.

""In a loose translation, the meaning of the song is, Tefillin, we place you so that you may help us overcome the evil inclination. Tefillin, remain with me forever and help me engrave on my heart 'Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.'".

Lyrics in Yiddish:

""And the abundance of the commandment of Tefillin will continue upon me, that I may have a long life and an abundance of holiness. Tefillin, we declare ourselves bound to serve in this, that we may burn in the earth, that we may abide with you, hear, O Israel, and inscribe in the earth, hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.".
