London is not waiting for him: Remarks of extraordinary severity against singer Avraham Fried by Satmar rabbis in London. The rabbis are publishing scathing letters in advance of the performance [komzitz] of the great Hasidic singer Avraham Fried, expected on 4th of Nissan. Rabbi Zvi Schnek, Dayan and Chief Justice of the Satmar community, calls the kozitz in his letter an 'idolatry' and calls on parents to keep their children away from the place 'which smothers fear of God.'.
The rabbi Yosef Benjamin Wasner, a rabbi in London, writes that "the messengers of Satan are digging their filthy claws into the public that fears and is anxious for the word of God here in the capital" and testifies that anyone who participates in such "gatherings" has extinguished every spark of fear of God and is at risk of falling into the net of impurity.
