The advertising agency 'Effective Results', owned by Shaia Itzkowitz, fell victim today to a ransom demand from a hacker who took over the office's computer servers and threatened to delete all information.

Itzkowitz was in a meeting with a client this morning when he noticed, while glancing at his phone, that he was being urgently searched from the office. "They've taken over our computers and are demanding a ransom. If we don't pay, they'll delete all our information," he was told hysterically from the office.

A hacker broke into the office's servers, bypassing all security systems, and demanded a ransom payment in Bitcoins worth $1,500.

The office called in computer experts, but to no avail.

Meanwhile, the hacker issued an ultimatum: "Within 12 hours, I will delete the information on the computers.".

Therefore, in 'Results' they realized that the most effective thing would be to pay the ransom. After the payment, the hacker sent a code that released all the files.

A hacker infiltrated the firm's servers using software installed on the server to allow professionals to assist technicians in providing 'remote support.' It should be noted that this is a server secured with strong firewalls, due to the firm's clients' demands.

Haredim 10 has learned that 'Effective Results' is the fifth victim of a hacker operating in Israel in recent weeks.
