מליאת הכנסת קיימה היום (רביעי) ישיבה מיוחדת לזכרו של נשיא המדינה החמישי, יצחק נבון ז"ל, במעמד נשיא המדינה ראובן (רובי) ריבלין, הנשיא לשעבר שמעון פרס ובני משפחת נבון. ראש הממשלה בנימין נתניהו נשא דברים לזכרו והעיר בפתח הדברים: "יש לי משאלת לב, לעתים הטקסים האלה שנועדו לכבד את זכרם של מנהיגים, משמשים לניגוח פוליטי, אני מבקש להפסיק את זה, אנחנו צריכים לשמור על המעמד". After Netanyahu's speech, the opposition leader, MK Yitzhak Herzog, spoke - and at the beginning of his remarks, he addressed Netanyahu's comment, as well as his tardiness: "If we are dealing with manners and etiquette, in a discussion like this in which President Rivlin and former President Peres participate, it is appropriate to arrive on time for an event of this type.
