Three young men in their 20s were arrested this morning (Friday) on suspicion of involvement in the attack on three ultra-Orthodox residents of Hatzor HaGlilit, and the setting fire to their car last night in the Bedouin village of Tuba-Zangariyya, located near Rosh Pina. The suspects were taken for questioning.

Initial investigation indicates that three residents of the city of Hatzor - one of them a Breslov Hasid and two secular - aged 29, 34 and 38 arrived in the Bedouin settlement, when two of them accompanied their friend, who was suffering from severe toothache, to a dentist in Tuba.

When the three wanted to leave the village, they lost their way. One of the haredim asked a passerby in the village where the exit from the village was - and in response, a number of young people from the village began to gather and throw stones at the vehicles.

The three visitors fled, with the villagers hot on their heels. At one point, when they noticed the villagers approaching them, they abandoned the vehicle and fled to a nearby field. The villagers set the vehicle on fire. According to the villagers, the three visitors were moving around the village under circumstances that seemed suspicious to them, and they thought they had arrived at the scene to carry out a "price tag" operation.

The three escapees were located in the Kfar Hanasi area, bruised as a result of their escape, and were taken for questioning at the police station.

One of the victims of the attack, 38 years old, was brought tonight to Ziv Hospital in Safed, where he was hospitalized with injuries to his body in the orthopedic department.

Earlier, northern police spokesman Moshe Weizman said: "In the village of Tuba Zangariyya, three young men, apparently ultra-Orthodox, were seen in a vehicle by local residents, driving around in a vehicle under suspicious circumstances. Several residents came towards them. The three fled and at a certain point abandoned their vehicle and ran into the fields. The vehicle was set on fire. Police from the Yarden station and the Border Police are searching for the three ultra-Orthodox in order to investigate the circumstances of their presence in the village.".
