With the end of the thirty days of mourning for the late Rabbi Yosef, child prodigy Uzziah Tzadok released a new and special single written especially in his memory.
The lyrics to the song were written by the Gra's daughter-in-law, Rebbetzin Yehudit Yosef, who cared for him with devotion for many years. In the special song, she writes about her feelings and the enormous privilege that fell to her lot.
The day before yesterday, Uzia performed in Paris. Rebbetzin Yosef was sitting in the audience - and he dedicated the song to her.
Watch.
Lyrics: Yehudit Yosef
Composer: Eli Klein
House 1:
On a bright day, the sun suddenly set,
Darkness and death deep in the soul,
Standing before you trembling, so alone,
The joy of my life, the joy of my heart, is lost.
The room is empty, a chair cries out in pain,
Books that bow their heads in mourning,
Good for you now I know,
But my heart is filled with longing.
ditty:
And a little star shines,
Smiling in the darkness,
Cheer up my child, I am walking with you,
Hold my hand, continue on my way,
I still live deep inside your heart.
I still live inside your heart..
House 2:
I still feel your caressing hand,
And the spirit of your wisdom hovers,
The lights go out in front of you,
Where will I go, it's hard for me without you.
And my tears fall, washing away like water,
Wrong, sees, looks at the sky,
I am enveloped in the pain of a little boy,
Comfort me and just give me a sign.
ditty:
And a little star shines,
Smiling in the darkness,
Cheer up my child, I am walking with you,
Hold my hand, continue on my way,
I still live deep inside your heart.
I still live inside your heart...
