Baruch Marzel, who set up a protest vigil near the Machpelah complex, following the wave of Arab terrorism, confronted Central Command Major General Roni Noma this morning (Friday).
According to a report by Ido Ben Porat on Channel 7, the following conversation took place between the two:
Marzel called out to the general: "Your name is Noma, but you should wake up. Jews are being slaughtered in the Land of Israel.".
Commander Noma: "You're hitting me below the belt.".
Marzel: "Gennady Kofman was stabbed above the belt in the heart here and he is lying in critical condition and you are doing nothing to address the problem.".
Commander Noma: "We are trying to act.".
Marzel: "I'll give you advice on what to do. Whatever you think and the brigade commander thinks, do the exact opposite. You speak Yiddish to the Arabs of Hebron, but they only understand Arabic.".
At this point, Marzel turned to Hebron Brigade Commander Ben Ezra, who was standing nearby, and asked him: "Isn't it true that I warned you a year ago that the direction of action you are taking will lead to an explosion in Hebron?""
Marzel concluded the conversation: "You are good guys, but Arabs are not your field. The situation will get worse if you continue to pour gasoline instead of water on the incendiary device.".
