The Megilot rescue unit reports that March was one of the busiest months for rescues in recent years, with 21 rescues - of which four were fatal.

Just yesterday, the unit rescued six yeshiva students, about 20 years old, who had lost their way in Wadi Kelt, in the northern Judean Desert. Members of the Megillot rescue unit were called to the area to assist the army forces who were searching for the boys. The yeshiva students, who arrived in the Jericho area, were located by the unit members and instructed to wait in a hiding place until the rescuers arrived - who rescued them safely.
