The emergency medical volunteer organization "Ihud Hatzalah" launched an online campaign today (Monday) aimed at combating the phenomenon of "curious people" flooding the scene of terrorist attacks.
In the campaign, the United Rescue Organization demands that people who gather at the scenes of terrorist incidents quickly leave the scene, in order to allow rescue forces to save lives without interference.
Under the title - "Curious! Don't interfere with saving lives!" - the public is urged: "During a terrorist incident, quickly leave the scene. Maintain your personal safety and allow emergency medical personnel to save lives.".
Moti Elmaleh, Director of the Spokesperson and Public Relations Department at United Hatzalah: "We chose to launch the campaign after we repeatedly witnessed people crowding at the scenes of terrorist events and in some cases obstructing the medical personnel who volunteer at United Hatzalah from saving lives and additional forces.
""Added to this is the security issue. Those curious people are a target for another threat that could attack them as individuals or as a group.".
