Two months have passed since the storm broke out at the Knesset Yeshiva in Givat Mordechai - and to this day, the head of the yeshiva, Rabbi Yosef Hevroni, has not returned to the yeshiva premises.
As you may recall, following graffiti sprayed on the yeshiva buildings against Rabbi Yosef Hebron, eight students were expelled - two of whom were grandsons of yeshiva heads Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Farbstein and Rabbi Nachman Toker.
Rabbi Hebron demanded that they be permanently removed, but the yeshiva students, and some of the yeshiva leaders, opposed it.
Yesterday, the heads of the yeshiva visited the Gerail Steinman for the third time in the past month. During the conversation with him, a compromise was decided, according to which four of the expelled young men will return to the yeshiva with the beginning of 'Summer Time' - the month of Iyar, while the other four will be returned to the yeshiva with the beginning of 'Elul Time', the month of Elul.
The boys who were expelled deny any connection to the graffiti, but admit that they confronted a yeshiva employee who was collecting pashacoils scattered in the yeshiva plaza.
According to the compromise agreement, Rabbi Yosef Hevroni, who until now due to the violation of his dignity has refrained from returning to the yeshiva, will return to the yeshiva building in Rabach Iyar and resume teaching his classes.
