ממשלת ספרד גינתה אמש (שלישי) את החלטת פסטיבל הרגאיי המקומי, לבטל את הופעת הזמר מתיסיהו רק מאחר וסירב לחתום על עצומה התומכת בהקמת מדינה פלסטינית. במשרד החוץ הספרדי אמרו כי איטליה תומכת בהקמת מדינה פלסטינית באמצעות משא ומתן מדיני, "אנו דוחים מכל וכל קמפיינים לחרם, וגל גילוי של אנטישמיות. בקשה מאמן להצהיר פומבית, מעלה מיד את עיקרון אי-האפליה". בתחילת השבוע פירסמנו כי פסטיבל הרגאיי שנערך בימים אלו בספרד ביטל את הופעתו של מתיסיהו, לאחר שסירב להצהיר על תמיכתו במדינה פלסטינית.
