Nahorai Turgeman, 11 years old, grew up in a home filled with the aroma of music and Judaism.
His father is a poet who performs in the synagogue on Shabbat and makes a living from running a restaurant. His parents discovered his love of music and the rare vocal ability he was gifted with when he was 6 years old. However, his transition into the world of music and performances began alongside the music producer Tsiki Zanty - the man behind the illustrious careers of Ofer Levy, Eyal Golan, Yoav Yitzhak, Margalit Tzanani, Haim Moshe Zehava Ben Haim Yisrael, Itzik Eshel and many other talented people in the music industry.
The connection began several years ago, when Nahorai was 8 years old, in an unplanned encounter.
Tsiki Zanty was looking for a children's choir for a musical project he was producing at the time, and the musical encounter between the two created a unique connection.
Tsiki Zanty: "There were at least 12 talented children in the room, but there was something unusual about Nehorai Turgeman. He was no longer a singing child. He had the mature soul of a singer and I realized that I had a heavenly connection to this child.".
Tsiki, with the approval of Nahorai's parents, decided to embark on a journey of musical growth with Nahorai. About a year ago, Tsiki filmed a small segment of a rehearsal with Nahorai for the well-known song "Nachmoni" on his phone and uploaded it to Facebook. The song went viral and garnered over 65,000 views and shares in 3 days, and that was the sign that lit the fire to get going.
After countless wedding entrances and appearances at events, Nahorai Turgeman recorded a new single in a Moroccan atmosphere and style, "Mama Diali" - the song written and composed by Moti Ohayon, conducted by Tsiki Zanti. The boy's charm and vocal ability are simply mesmerizing.
