Celebrating circumcision: Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan introduced his son, who was born to him and his wife, to the covenant of our forefather Abraham, this afternoon (Monday).
This morning, Minister Erdan began his day with morning prayers at the synagogue and was honored with a Torah reading.
Towards noon, the son's excited father posted a photo on his Facebook page from the Torah reading at the synagogue and wrote: "This morning I was privileged to read the Torah in preparation for the introduction today of my beloved son into the covenant of our forefather Abraham. Great excitement.".

Minister Erdan observed the mitzvot in his youth and even studied at the Nativ Meir high school yeshiva in Jerusalem.
