'Levi Falkovich's 'I'll Wait for Him' climbed to the top of the US sales chart for ten consecutive days - and within ten days of its launch, ten thousand albums were sold in stores - an unprecedented number in this era.
Lechaim Productions, which distributes the album, expressed satisfaction: "The numbers speak. The Hasidic public votes with their feet, and prefers to purchase an original album. It is not obvious in the current era of social networks and messaging apps that people purchase albums at full price.".
""I wish we could reach such numbers in Israel as well.".
The distribution company says that in Israel, too, the album was well received by fans of the Hasidic singer, but naturally, these are not sales figures similar to the US, because Falkowitz has not yet performed in Israel - while in the US he appears every evening on stage at weddings.
""In recent days, I have received many encouraging messages from friends in Israel who have listened to the album, and I hope that I will have the privilege of coming to the Holy Land soon and participating in events and performing songs from the album," says Falkowitz.
