That's what friends are for.: Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, MK Bezalel Smotrich of the Jewish Home, encountered a difficult problem today (Wednesday). On his way to the plenary hall to conduct a meeting, he remembered that by virtue of his honorable position, he must wear a tie.
While wondering what to do, he decided to ask MK Shai Piron for a favor: the blue tie he wore.
On his Facebook page, alongside a selfie with the tie, Smotrich wrote: "Thank you to MK Shai Piron for lending the villager his tie and even tying it for him, so that he could come up and lead the plenary session..."'
Last night, Channel 2 reported that Smotrich was ranked first in the attendance index of Knesset members at the Mishkan. The winner's response was: "As a public servant, I came to work. Even before my current position, I worked most of the day and night, when the people of Israel are your boss - there is no attendance clock.".
