Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to appoint Eli Groner to the position of Director General of the Prime Minister's Office.
Gruner has extensive experience in the public and private sectors - in recent years he served as the economic envoy in Washington and previously was a senior executive at the international strategic consulting firm McKinsey, leading projects for the world's leading companies in the US, Europe and Israel.
Prime Minister Netanyahu: "Eli Groner's rich experience in the many positions he has held in both the public and private sectors leads me to choose him for the significant role in advancing the economy in Israel.
""Eli will assist me in promoting the many reforms we are planning, in increasing competition in the economy, in cutting bureaucracy, in streamlining the government apparatus in cooperation with the private sector, and in developing growth engines unique to the Israeli economy," Netanyahu added.
