Starting to work: Shas Chairman Aryeh Deri is reorganizing the workers around him before taking on the role of Minister of Economy, Religious Affairs, the Negev and the Galilee in the new government.
Deri today (Wednesday) appointed Nati Isaac to the position of chief of staff. Isaac, who wears a knitted kippah and previously worked with Minister Gideon Sa'ar when he served as Minister of the Interior, will deal with professional issues.
After leaving Saar's office, Isaac moved into real estate. Now, with Deri's return to the government table, he is returning with him to his activities in the political world.

At the same time, Deri made another appointment today: his spokesman Yaakov Bezalel was appointed to the position of head of the bureau, and he will focus more on political issues.
Bezalel previously served as the personal spokesman for former Shas chairman Eli Yishai. Upon Deri's return to leadership of the movement, he defected from Yishai's office to the office of the current Shas chairman and was appointed his spokesman.
