The Finance Committee approved a budget of 177 million shekels for the settlement of the World Zionist Organization at its meeting this morning (Sunday).

The budget was passed with a majority of 7 supporters against 4 opponents. As you may recall, last week the Yesh Atid faction delayed the allocation until full transparency was promised on the spending, especially on the investments directed to Judea and Samaria. This morning it withdrew its opposition.

The one who surprised with his opposition was MK Elazar Stern from the movement, a member of the coalition. Stern opposed along with Labor and United Torah Judaism - both in the opposition. According to him, "We did not come to be anyone's puppets, being a coalition member is no picnic. It is not fair to put me in a dilemma.".

The person who explained Yesh Atid's withdrawal from the opposition was MK Boaz Toporovsky, who explained that they received a promise that a repeat debate would be held in the Constitution Committee this week and that the transparency order on the division's budget is expected to be approved by a majority vote.

The opposition did not remain silent about Yesh Atid's withdrawal from the opposition, and shouted at its representatives: "Is this how you want to know where the money is?"'
