Have you always been annoyed by the photos of Haredim who "don't stand by when the siren is blaring"? Yedioth Ahronoth photographer Shaul Golan - an acclaimed photographer who has won dozens of awards in Israel and around the world for his documentary work - is one of the photographers sent to document these moments. But this morning he attacked the media's editors' conduct towards the Haredim during the days of remembrance.
In a post he wrote this morning on his Facebook page, above a photo he took this morning in Levinsky Park in Tel Aviv, Golan wrote:
""Every year, on Memorial Day, they sent me to Bnei Brak to photograph the dossies. I was pretty disgusted by it.".
""Later I learned that it really affected them too. This year I sent myself to Levinsky Garden. What can I tell you, some still haven't woken up from the night's toss, one is looking for his portion, and some are also standing.".
