Deputy Minister of Religious Services, Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan, commented on his Facebook page about the police's mobilization to investigate who threw a stone at Michal Herzog's car.
Yesterday evening (Monday), Herzog reported to the police that a stone was thrown at her car as she was leaving her home in Tel Aviv. She told the police that the stone hit the car and caused damage to the windshield and window.
An examination of the security cameras in the area of the home of Zionist Union Chairman MK Yitzhak Herzog and his wife Michal revealed that no stones were thrown at Michal Herzog's car, but rather two stones that were on the road and a vehicle passing by hit them and threw them at her car.
Deputy Minister of Religious Services Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan wrote on his Facebook page: "Life in danger? In the past 24 hours, the Israel Police has mobilized with all its might and power to discover who threw a stone at Michal Herzog's car - and that's a good thing.".
""This morning, the police announced that it appears to be a terrorist who was on the road and splashed towards the window of her vehicle.".
Rabbi Ben Dahan wishes to "remind the Israel Police and the IDF that every day stones are thrown at the residents of Judea and Samaria, putting their lives in danger. I call on the IDF and the police to act with the same determination and strength to investigate and eradicate the phenomenon of stone throwing on Judea and Samaria roads and to arrest the terrorists.".
Ben Dahan stated: "A stone kills. Unfortunately, we have seen this from Esther Ohana to Adele Biton.".
