Simcha Arlai: The Rebbe of Erlui, Rabbi Yochanan ben Tushna Sofer, was released to his home in the Katamon neighborhood of Jerusalem, after being hospitalized since Wednesday at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, where he successfully underwent a pacemaker transplant.

During the Sabbath, the condition of the Rebbe, a member of the Council of Torah Elders of Agudat Israel, improved, and today he was able to return home. Before leaving the hospital, the 91-year-old Rebbe thanked the doctors for their dedicated care and blessed them. In the near future, the Rebbe will have to maintain complete rest.

The Rebbe returned to his home at 2:00 PM and was welcomed with singing by the Hasidim.
