On the occasion of the anniversary of the passing of the late cantor Rabbi David Werdiger - which falls today, 2nd of Nissan, the 'Hamanganim' Orchestra is releasing a special excerpt from the recently released 'Komdanz', featuring his grandson, the cantor Israel Werdiger, in which he performs the song 'Yavne HaMikdash', together with the 'Shira' choir from the USA, to the tune of his late grandfather.

Filming for the 'Comdance' project was scheduled in advance for a date that, in retrospect, came out just days after the death, which shocked the Hasidic music industry.

Until the last moment, it was unclear whether Israel Verdiger would come to Israel to participate in the filming as previously scheduled. Finally, he arrived, participated in the filming of the project, and even spontaneously performed "Yavne HaMikdash" with the orchestra and with audience participation, in memory of his late grandfather.
