Last weekend, the Kinderlech band and child prodigy Uzziah Zadok returned from their world tour, thus concluding their winter 2014 tour.

Every year on the holiday of Purim, Mayor Shlomo Rechnitz of Los Angeles holds a festive event, which includes a fine and high-quality musical performance for the enjoyment of his community. And as always, the Kinderlach Band and Uzia Zadok appeared on stage, joined by Mordechai Ben David, Yiddel Werdiger, Gad Elbaz, Lipa Schmelzer, Moti Steinmetz and the Shira Choir.

During the performance, the children performed the song "Purim Hagigah", which was produced especially for the occasion, and thousands of spectators enjoyed extraordinary duets such as those of Mordechai Ben-David and Uzia Tzadok, who performed "Shir HaShalom" and "Shema Bani" together, or Kinderlach and Lipa Schmelzer, who thrilled the audience with "Make It Happen" from their latest album. Towards the end of the evening, Gad Elbaz joined and, together with Kinderlach and all the artists, sang "He' Melech". Also, during the performance, Rechnitz was awarded a "Gold Album" for his song "Ana Melech", which was released on the band's latest album.

Throughout the entire visit, the children traveled, in the best tradition of the group, and visited all the attractive sites that the City of Angels has to offer.

From there, the band took off for Mexico, for another performance before the local Yavneh community. The community members had been looking forward to the children's performance for a long time, and upon landing in Mexico City, they were greeted with wonderful hospitality and given warm and cordial hospitality. The highlight of the visit was, as mentioned, a full performance by the band, centered around a duet with the chief cantor, Moshe Mendelssohn. The day after the performance, the children toured the Xochimilco site and enjoyed the variety of attractions the city has to offer.

Last Friday, the children landed in Israel and were greeted by family members who were waiting at the airport.
