The radio station 'Kol Berama' is launching a new program hosted by Rabbi Zamir Cohen: The program, which will air for the first time today (Thursday) at 12:00 noon, will deal with questions and answers with listeners on matters of current affairs and viewpoint.
Rabbi Zamir Cohen is the rabbi of the Etrog neighborhood in Beitar Illit, Rosh Yeshiva 'Heichal Meir', chairman and founder of the 'Hidabrot' organization, and author of books on halachic, thought, and biblical interpretation.
What is surprising is that Rabbi Zamir Cohen is strongly identified with the Shas movement and Aryeh Deri, while the station is identified with his opponent - Eli Yishai.
Ariel Deri, CEO of 'Kol Bramah' Radio: "Rabbi Zamir Cohen is one of the most influential figures in the world of Teshuvah in Israel. He works for unity in the Jewish people and for increasing the honor of the Torah, and as such, the connection between him and 'Kol Bramah' is natural and necessary. We are happy that we have the opportunity to connect the rabbi with the large audience.".
