Singer Lipa Schmelzer is currently in Israel. Last Friday night, he arrived at Zion Square in Jerusalem, where he performed a spontaneous performance for hundreds of ultra-Orthodox youth hanging out in the area.
Lipa, accompanied by a keyboardist, skipped between soul songs and hits of his own, such as "Mizrahi," which recently crossed the one million views mark on YouTube.
Lipa was joined later in the evening by singer Dudu Fisher.
The two spoke to hundreds of young people and encouraged them to take their lives seriously, whether in yeshiva or in other alternative settings, such as IDF service. The evening ended with a joint dance by all those present.
