Towards the signing of the agreement with Iran: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared today (Friday) that as long as he heads the Israeli government, Iran will not obtain nuclear weapons.
He said that there is complete agreement between him and US President Donald Trump on the Iranian nuclear issue.
Netanyahu said: "As long as I am the Prime Minister of Israel, Iran will not have nuclear weapons. President Trump and I are in complete agreement on the issue.".
He added: "For over 30 years, I have been at the forefront of the international struggle against Iran's nuclear program. If it weren't for this struggle, Iran would have long ago had atomic bombs to destroy Israel. Iran is working to destroy the Jewish state, and I am dedicating my life to preventing them from doing so.".
""As long as I am the Prime Minister of Israel, this will not happen.".
President Trump said tonight at the White House that the signing of the agreement with Iran could take place as early as this weekend in Europe. "The signing will be soon, and Vice President Vance, and envoys Witkoff and Kushner will be there," Trump said.
He emphasizes that as soon as the agreement is signed, the blockade on the Strait of Hormuz will be lifted.
He noted that he spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu, and with the leaders of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and other countries.
The president promised that Iran would not have nuclear weapons in any form: "They agreed to that. They will also not buy or develop nuclear weapons in any way.".
According to reports in Iranian media, the final talks between the United States and Iran are expected to focus on economic issues and the nuclear program.
According to the report, the discussions will not include Iran's ballistic missile program, but will focus on the issues of lifting sanctions, nuclear issues, and economic measures accompanying the memorandum of understanding that is being formed.
