According to a report by Avishai Greenzig on i24, the consultant was for years a significant figure in managing the relationship between the Mossad and the media and presenting the organization's head's positions on various issues to the media. According to Greenzig, over the years there has been criticism of her employment as an external consultant, partly due to the fact that the identities of her other clients and the business interests associated with them are not known to the public.
According to information obtained by i24, no organized meeting was held between Goffman and the media consultant prior to the end of her term.
