An investigation published today (Sunday) on CNN indicates that Iran has begun to rehabilitate its missile array, at a pace that is ahead of Western estimates.
According to the investigation, despite the efforts of the US and Israel to block the entrances to Iran's underground operational tunnels by bombing them, Iran managed to open 50 out of 69 openings, which provide access to 18 underground complexes.
Iran has restored additional parts of the same bases, including roads that were bombed to prevent their use for missile launchers.
According to the report, satellite images show that the Iranians filled all the craters created by the bombings - and at two sites they also repaved roads.
The footage also shows that Iran has already rebuilt several facilities at the missile factories that were attacked during the war, which raises concerns about Iran's ability to also restore its missile production capabilities.
The investigation quoted an American source as claiming that not only is Iran restoring its key military capabilities, including the production of drones, launchers, and missiles - but the pace is faster than the intelligence community's estimates.
