A light aircraft crashed this morning (Sunday) in an open area near the settlement of Tel Adashim.
Large rescue and medical forces were called to the scene and provided initial medical treatment to two men in their 50s who were critically injured. The two were evacuated to HaEmek Hospital while CPR was performed.
Sadly, at the hospital, the doctors were forced to pronounce them dead.

ZAKA volunteers from the Northern District were called to the scene and are working to collect the numerous findings at the difficult scene.
Shimon Yom Tov Weiser, a volunteer from the Northern District ZAKA, who is handling the scene: "This is a very difficult scene of a plane crash in an open area. When we arrived at the scene, we saw the remains of the plane and the destruction caused by the crash. The Northern District ZAKA volunteers are working with great dedication at the complex scene, collecting all the findings and bringing them to the burial site.""
The circumstances of the aircraft crash in open space are currently being investigated by the authorized authorities.
Paramedic from the MDA motorcycle unit, Maor Atedagi, said: "This is a serious incident. We arrived at the scene with ambulances, intensive care vehicles and immediate response motorcycles. They led us through the field to the plane that crashed. The plane had severe damage to the fuselage and two men were lying nearby.".
Atedagi added: "They were unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing. We immediately began performing advanced CPR and evacuated them in MDA intensive care units to the hospital in critical condition.".
Paramedics Meir Eichler and Shavit Mozes: "When we arrived with an MDA ambulance to the crash scene, we found two men in their 50s unconscious with multiple systemic injuries after the light plane they were flying in crashed.
""Together with rescue and MDA medics and paramedics, we performed advanced CPR on them, and they were evacuated in critical condition to continue receiving medical treatment in the trauma room at HaEmek Hospital in Afula.""
