Touching moments before the funeral procession of the late Rabbi Yishai Pur: Benjamin Fishel, a United Hatzalah medic, was among the first to arrive at the scene of the murder at Kolel Hazon Ish on Wednesday afternoon and fought tirelessly to save the life of the late Rabbi Yishai.

This evening, before the funeral, he arrived at the 'Kollel Hazon Ish' building on Maharashal Street, carrying with him the heavy pain and his clothes that were stained with blood during the attempts to save his life.

In a chilling moment before the funeral procession began, Yechiel Goldman, a ZAKA member accompanying the family and handling the difficult event, met him and cut off the blood-soaked shirt - clothing that is required for burial according to Halacha.

""One small moment that is full of true kindness," say the ZAKA organization. "A moment that illustrates the great dedication of the rescue workers, who not only fight for life but also accompany with dignity and take care to honor the person on their final journey.".

The funeral went to the Ponevezh Cemetery in Bnei Brak, where he will be buried.
