An IDF soldier was seriously injured and a combat officer was moderately injured overnight (Sunday) as a result of stepping on a bomb in southern Lebanon.

The incident occurred during operational activity by IDF forces in the southern Lebanon region.
In addition to the officer and soldier who were seriously and moderately injured, another officer and soldier were lightly injured in the same incident.
Army medical forces provided first aid to the injured on the ground immediately after the explosion.
All of the fighters injured in the incident were later evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment.
The IDF said that messages were delivered to the families of the four victims.
