Unity Week 2016 is taking place this year under the title “Now We Talk,” and includes dozens of initiatives, meetings, events and activities across the country and the world.
Unity Week begins today, Sunday, Sivan 1, 5776, May 17, 2026, and will end with a festive ceremony at the President's House in Jerusalem on Sunday, Sivan 8, 5776, May 24, 2026, during which the Jerusalem Awards for Israeli Unity and certificates of appreciation will be awarded to activists, initiatives, and organizations working to strengthen unity in the people of Israel.
The Unity Day Association was established in memory of the three young men, Eyal Yifrach, Naftali Frankel, and the late Gil-Ad Shaar, who were kidnapped and murdered in 2014.
