A 38-year-old man was bitten by a snake in an open area near the settlement of Tekoa in Gush Etzion and was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in serious condition and conscious.
Rescue forces called to the scene provided him with life-saving medical treatment.
MDA paramedic Sherif Alian said: "The man told us that he suddenly felt a stinging sensation in his leg and heard rustling in the bushes. We quickly realized that this was a life-threatening situation that required immediate medical intervention. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment and urgently evacuated him to the hospital in critical condition.".
