Jerusalem Flowers in a new original song in honor of Jerusalem Day

On the occasion of Jerusalem Day, the children's band 'Flowers of Jerusalem' performed an original and moving single, dedicated entirely to the beloved holy city of Jerusalem.

The song was composed for the band by the great Hebrew singer, Father Toledano and written by poet Nurit Bat Shahar Tzafrir. The single is being released as part of the jubilee celebrations for the band that over the years has become a musical ambassador for the city of Jerusalem. 

Over five decades, 'Flowers of Jerusalem' conducted by Hanan Avital has performed in over 20 countries, including: the United States, France, Russia, Mexico, Tunisia, and Morocco.

Hanan Avital, director and conductor of 'Flowers of Jerusalem': ""It is our right to proudly bear the name of Jerusalem, and to connect generations through music, tradition and values, while preserving the unique Jerusalem spirit. As every year, we invite the general public to come and celebrate Jerusalem Day with us in Zion Square with a special performance open to everyone.".
