The United Arab Emirates issued a strong official statement tonight (Wednesday), categorically denying reports of a visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the country during the 'Harry Potter's Roar'.

In a statement issued by the UAE Foreign Ministry, it was clarified that the United Arab Emirates did not host Netanyahu and did not receive any Israeli military delegation on its territory - contrary to the publications.

The Foreign Ministry emphasized that relations with Israel are completely public and conducted under the familiar umbrella of the Abraham Accords. The statement noted that the relations are not based on secrecy or secret arrangements of any kind, and that any claim regarding undeclared visits or arrangements is baseless, unless published by official authorities in Abu Dhabi.

At the end of the announcement, the Emirates called on the media to act with accuracy and avoid disseminating unverified information used to create a false political impression.

The Emirati denial comes after the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem issued a dramatic statement, stating that Netanyahu paid a secret visit to the Emirates on March 26, 2026.

According to the Israeli announcement, Netanyahu met with President Mohammed bin Zayed at the height of Operation Roar of Hari, a visit that was described as a "historic breakthrough" in security and political coordination between the countries.

However, while the Emirates deny it, Ziv Agmon, deputy chief of staff in Netanyahu's office and former spokesman, testified on his Facebook page that he participated in the meeting.

Agmon wrote: "As someone who knows the United Arab Emirates well and has lived there for long periods of time, and as someone who accompanied the Prime Minister on the historic trip that has been top secret until today, I can say that the Prime Minister was received in Abu Dhabi with the honor of kings! Sheikh bin Zayed, his family members and other dignitaries welcomed us and were happy to see the Prime Minister of the State of Israel on their soil.".

""The Sheikh greatly respected the Prime Minister and personally drove the Prime Minister in his personal car from the plane to the palace. The things the Prime Minister concluded during this amazing visit will be talked about for generations to come. A great success!"'
