Today (Wednesday), at approximately 6:15 PM, a report was received at the ZAKA hotline about a man's body that was found in an advanced state of decomposition in an apartment on HaHagana Street in Petah Tikva.
MDA teams called to the scene were forced to confirm his death.
ZAKA Sharon Area volunteers are working at the scene, treating the deceased with dignity and collecting the remains.

Moti Bookchin, a spokesman for ZAKA, said: "Unfortunately, we repeatedly encounter difficult cases of people who die alone and are only discovered after many days. This is a painful reality that requires us all to be more vigilant about our immediate environment, whether it's a neighbor, a family member, or a friend who doesn't answer. One knock on the door, once a day, can save a life.""
