Near midnight, a report was received at the ZAKA 1220 hotline about a 63-year-old man who was found lifeless in his home on Dahomey Street in the Kiryat Menachem neighborhood of Jerusalem. MDA teams called to the scene were forced to confirm his death.
ZAKA volunteers from the Jerusalem District were called to the scene and worked to preserve the dignity of the deceased and assist the family.
Yechiel Eyring and Daniel Meshi Zahav, ZAKA volunteers from the Jerusalem District who responded to the scene, said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a 63-year-old man who was found lifeless in his home. ZAKA volunteers are honoring the deceased and assisting the family members during these difficult times.""
