The election committee to elect Rabbi Emanuel convened today (Tuesday) for its first working meeting to determine the date and place of the elections.
The committee is headed by the Honorable Retired Dayan, Rabbi Yitzhak Zer, who is leading the process to complete the appointment of the spiritual leadership for the city.
The committee set the election date.

Election date: Monday, 3rd of Sivan, 5786 (15.06.2026).
Voting hours: Polls will be open between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
The firm's CEO, Yehuda Avidan, expressed hope that the selection process will be carried out in a respectful and speedy manner, for the benefit of the residents of Emanuel and the communities in the city.
