Following a report received by the police hotline 100 regarding a violent incident that occurred on Bialik Street in the city of Bat Yam, police officers quickly arrived at the scene.
When the police approached the victim (78), it was clarified that an argument had broken out between him and the neighbor who, according to suspicion, attacked him violently, using an iron chain, which he threw at the victim's body.
As a result of the violent incident, the victim was taken to receive medical treatment, with his condition described as moderate according to medical officials.

The suspect, 42, was arrested by police forces and the chain that was suspected of being used during the attack was seized. The suspect, along with the findings, were transferred to the Bat Yam police station for further treatment.
