Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, MK Nissim Vaturi, announced that he will oppose in the Knesset committee the removal of MK Tali Gottlieb's immunity.
""This is political persecution in legal guise and a dangerous attempt to silence a representative of the public. We will not allow harm to a militant MK who is not afraid to stand up to the deep state and expose its shortcomings," emphasized MK Vaturi.
Vattori added: "Today it's Gottlieb, tomorrow it's anyone else. I will stand like a wall against the violation of the sovereignty of the Knesset and the attempt to silence and harm the freedom of expression of my coalition members, and I hope that all members of the committee will do the same.".
