MK Orit Farkash HaCohen left the Blue and White faction and Chairman Benny Gantz demanded that she resign.
After MKs Hili Tropper and Eitan Ginsburg also resigned from the faction, Benny Gantz backed down from his demand.
The motive was apparently fear that Farkash's place would be taken by the next member on the list, one of MK Gideon Sa'ar's associates, Gantz's partner during the elections.
